As a one of the founders and licensed therapist in South Carolina and North Carolina, I am dedicated to bringing warmth, positivity, and unconditional acceptance to children of all ages and their families. My practice centers on meeting clients where they are with non-judgmental care, integrating evidence-based approaches including Triple P (Positive Parenting Program), Motivational Interviewing, and Mental Health First Aid. Whether helping a young child navigate big emotions, empowering a teen, or partnering with parents, my goal is to foster a supportive, hopeful environment where every individual involved feels valued, heard, and equipped to thrive.

As one the founders of Innovative Konnections, I bring over three decades of professional care management, crisis intervention, and family advocacy to every interaction. My background in developing structured support plans, navigating complex systems, and maintaining absolute regulatory compliance ensures that our center operates with the highest standards of safety and integrity. Families and providers can count on a warm, highly structured environment led by a seasoned professional who knows how to foster positive, meaningful connections.

My name is Luiz Lacerda, and I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Capella University. I have a professional background in child welfare, having served as a foster care social worker within the Department of Social Services. Working with children and families has reinforced why I chose social work. I believe everyone deserves to be heard, supported, and treated with dignity. My goal is to help people navigate life's challenges, connect them with meaningful resources, and empower them to create lasting stability for themselves and their families.
